Hand Painted Glass Wine Decanter : ClassOnGlass - ArtFire Glass

Hand Painted Glass Wine Decanter : ClassOnGlass - ArtFire Glass

This unusual shape decanter is hand blown in Poland and is easy to hold with the hole in the center adding to it's design. I have painted this decanter with rich colors of burgundy, green and dark pink in a stained glass look design and it is signed upon completion. To get the best finish, I painstakingly "fill" the colors as opposed to brushing them on so you don't get messy brush strokes, it really looks like stained glass. A beautiful addition to any table or bar. Use it for wine, juice, iced tea or even as a vase. Either way it will draw compliments from your guests. What a wonderful gift! As with all my work the photographs don't do it justice, but please check out my feedback. It speaks for itself. This listing is for the decanter only but it is available as a set. See my other listings.
**Please allow 5-7 days working days for me to paint this item prior to shipping. Thank you.**

Note: Since I paint each one by hand slight variations over the picture in the listing are inherent for this item.

Hand Painted Riedel O Stemless Wine Glasses for Kristen : ClassOnGlass - ArtFire Glass

Hand Painted Riedel O Stemless Wine Glasses for Kristen : ClassOnGlass - ArtFire Glass

These beautiful stemless Riedel O CRYSTAL cabernet/merlot wine glasses are from the popular Riedel company. Voted one of the best wine glasses on the market today by Wine Enthusiast magazine. I have painted these glasses in a rich stained glass design. Each glass is painstakingly hand painted and signed upon completion and I Fill each color rather than brush it on so there are no brush strokes just beautiful solid color! These top quality german crystal "O" wine glasses are a wonderful addition to any home and are specially designed to optimize the pleasure of drinking your wine.

The Riedel insignia is discretely etched on the bottom of each glass. As with all my work the photographs do not do it justice. Please check my feedback -it speaks for the quality of my work. I photographed these with the Riedel sticker on the glasses to show authenticity.

Approx Size: 4.75" tall 3" diamater at rim 4" diamater at widest.

These beautiful Italian CRYSTAL wine Glasses are hand painted and signed upon completion. This is one of my latest designs inspired by my genuine love of giraffes. The sinuous curves of the design represent the giraffe well. The outlines are painted in a creamy light gold representing the main body color of the giraffe and then each block is painted with a rich tan color. I painstakingly fill each spot with paint giving you a clear solid finish without brush strokes. This process is very time consuming, thus the higher price of these glasses, but the end result is well worth it. The photographs don't do them nearly the justice they deserve, as with any of my glass art. Check out my feedback for validation of the quality of my work. These truly are wonderful glasses and would make a great gift that anyone would be excited to receive.

These top quality Italian Crystal glasses offer superior tone, transparency and brightness. They have a pulled stem with no seams and are a wonderful shape. The large capacity and the widening of the rim exalts the bouquet of great wines. These glasses also have high resistance to breakage. I have used only top quality materials for these classy glasses. Since each glass is hand painted no two are exactly the same.

A couple of weekends ago I went to an art party at Ravenstone, a new local non-profit organization dedicated to connecting and educating local artists in our community and beyond. The purpose of this particular party was to paint and decorate various pieces of furniture and miscellaneous items that will be sold at our very first fundraiser auction in May.

BFF Marilyn (www.bymarilyn.com) poses with the new Raven signature piece welded by fellow artist Greg Bartol of Studio B Custom Design in Auburn.

The main focus and largest project of the evening is this soon to be beautiful round dining table. It started out as a plain wood table but is already in the process of being transformed............follow it's progress below.

Dan gives us a little history about where these unique wooden boxes came from. He's picked one out to paint and you can see his finished product further down this blog post.

Greg & Louise Bartol take a break from their projects.

Nicole Donnelly, founder of Baby Legs, (www.babylegs.com) and author of "Ride Like A Penguin" (www.ridelikeapenguin.com) uses the hairdryer to speed up the process of painting her wooden box. Nicole will be helping Ravenstone artists promote their work and run their fundraiser auction at the launch of her new online connections business "Big Ruby" (www.bigruby.net) in May of this year.

Calligraphy Art Opening

Calligraphy Artist Sally Penley gives her welcome to everyone that came to her opening night for her art rotation at the Maple Valley Creative Arts Council on February 12th.

Members of the Tacoma Calligraphers guild were on hand to write beautiful bookmarks for everyone to take home.
We tasted five different Red Hot Latin Wines from Chile and Argentina..........Debbie wasn't content with her own tasting she had to steal from my glass too - Lush!!

Chef Matt Anderson was at the opening showing off his skills as a food artist. Starting with bowls of fresh fruits and chunks of cheese, Matt created wonderful appetizers for everyone to enjoy.

Yummy strawberries, blueberries and mixed cheeses..............mmmmmm

Simple but beautiful designs............

................and all edible into the bargain!

Check out Matt's website at http://www.chefmattanderson.com/ Matt offers private gourmet, artful dinners in your own home at very reasonable rates. If his fruit platters are anything to go by then I can hardly wait for a special occasion to hire him for!

Smile, you're on Candid Camera...............

It was a great evening and Sally's art is wonderful. Stop on by the Maple Valley Creative Arts Council sometime to check it out for yourself. http://www.maplevalleyarts.com/

Leaves......

Living out in the sticks here in the Pacific Northwest has me surrounded by lots of trees, and a large garden. Some of my latest glass creations are influenced by these surroundings. Whether it be crystal wine glasses with Maple Leaves and Geranium Leaves, or stemless Riedel wine glasses with Fern Leaves and Salmon Berry Leaves, each one is hand painted with pride and attention to great detail. Here are some pictures of some of my most popular Art Glass pieces.

Riedel "O" stemless wine glasses.

Burgundy and Copper Fern Leaf Platter Blue and Gold Fern Leaf Platter

Blue & Gold Fern Leaf Accent Bowl Green & Gold Fern Leaf Platter
I love painting these pieces. The Platters and Bowls are painted upside down so I never know what each one will turn out like until I flip it over when I'm finished. Each one turns out different from the next.
If you would like to see more of my Hand Painted Art Glass, please check out the following links and be sure and follow my blog.

Shannon's School Valentine Dance

Wow, how quickly they grow up! Shannon headed out to the school Valentine dance the other week. It seems like only a few months ago that I was putting her on the bus to Kindergarten.!

Featherstone Mask Party

In January we went to the Featherstone Mask Making Party in Ravensdale to help Gill celebrate her birthday. Here's my completed mask. I used lots of seed beads and strands of freshwater pearls along with colored glitter pens and even some yarn.

Whatever it was, it was funny.......and I love Debbie's mask LOL!

Me, Nicole, & Dan.
Lotsa goodies for our mask making.

Marilyn & I.

Shells, Fossils & Rocks completed this mask.

Marilyn used lots of feathers and would you believe, scrapbooking supplies!

Marilyn & Nicole

This was Marilyn's first time out to a Featherstone gathering of artists. We had tons of fun, great food, good wine, and wonderful conversations with fellow artists. Can't wait for the next get together in March.

Wildlife World Zoo, Phoenix

We all took a trip to the Wildlife World Zoo during our visit to Phoenix. The Giraffes are probably my favorite and here's a young one enjoying some time away from it's mother.

The big cats are sooooo amazing.........

.........but we hate the cages!

Love the Zebras......

......and all the exotic birds.
