- I was born & raised in beautiful Yorkshire, England and emigrated to the United States in 1980 so I feel like I'm a true Seattlite at this point in my life! I live in the Seattle suburb of Maple Valley with my husband and two children. My passion for glass started many years ago when I became an avid collector of the world-renowned Swarovski Crystal figurines and then broadened my collection to include contemporary art glass from glass artists around the country. Several years ago I started working with my paints and brushes using glass as my canvas. My friends and acquaintances liked what they saw, and so after several years of dabbling in the business, I now work full time designing & painting glass art pieces.
